"Labyrinth: 12 Cracks in the Soul"
1.03 - 27.04.2024
R gallery
The exhibition features a series of self-exploratory digital illustrations based on
the artist's personal experiences. They describe states that we willfully or unintentionally immerse ourselves in and from which it is sometimes difficult to get out through the labyrinth of the inner world. 12 different stories that contain moments of pain, betrayal,
loneliness and near-death experiences, but also symbolize hope, self-transcendence and rebirth. The illustrations reflect not only the inner universe, but also encounters and lessons that shape the understanding of oneself and the surrounding world and the path to understanding and harmony.
Artist about herself:
“Creation is an integral part of my life. It is a language with which I can talk to the world. I like to experiment with colors and different materials, learn new things and explore myself through different sensations and techniques. It is difficult to describe in words what painting means to me. Sometimes it is an extremely difficult process. I like bright color tones, especially the combination of sharp contrasts. I rarely know exactly what I want to depict. Most of the time my stories arise during the work, but they always touch on my feelings and experiences. Painting has become a place where I can hide from the outside world. In addition to painting,
I really like computer graphics. In illustrations I look for dynamics, distortions of proportions and interesting compositions. I am constantly looking for something new and interesting.
I have participated in over 30 exhibitions. My pictures are in private collections in Ukraine,
the USA, Sweden and Germany.”
